Smithy - South Africa v Pakistan 2007

There's another series about to commence - the South Africa v Pakistan one which will be eminently watchable. Of course, England are heading to Sri Lanka too and there are some aspects of that I'd like to watch as well, but the Battle of Greens will be interesting for many reasons.

Pakistan always offer plenty to spectators on and off the field to talk about. Smithy - the South African captain inevitably gives off much more off the field too.

It's not his fault, somehow whatever he says comes off reported next day with bludgeoning headlines that return to stun him.

What does Smithy do to beat boredom? Besides choking of course...

Any ideas how Smithy eases through ennui?

On a side note, Md. Yusuf is reported to be ready to break the ICL contract and return to the Pakistan team for the test series against Pakistan. That's a boost for Pakistan.
