Sometimes it pays to be...

Worse than incompetent. Especially if you are an umpire with the correct credentials in the sport of cricket.

Sydney should have been a watershed moment of sorts for revamping the entire umpiring structure, instead we have this - continued and periodic raising of false bogeys and mischeivous support to two who were basically caught with their hand in the till so to speak. I really wonder why they are resurrected so often in the panel, on the field and in the news ^{Cricket365.com}

WI cricket forums still seethe and rant about the "racism" involved in it all. Wow! This must be the biggest palinism of all time...the greatest pivot given to an issue...the ugliest wink at fairness and justice!

One of them umpires has a track record that stretches way back. It is time, in a professional sport, such ludicrousness wasn't encouraged.

It is merely by chance that one of them happens to belong to a region...but what is clear is there are any number of people in those parts stalking public consciousness of this sport with cans of faux indignance kerosene and racy ostrichine lighters to burn some kind of fraud theories into it all. And there are hands only too willing to prod them on. They appear to own proprietal rights to call others on racism.

Rather than condemn the obvious and continued charade of the men concerned, what we see instead are such monstrous and obnoxious amounts of fake indignance, righteousness (imagine that!) and outright attempt to play the race card, to play the poor board-rich board card. Such sickness can only be ascribed to an illness, a disease which blinds people from justice and fairness. I hear so much support for Mr.Obama, I do too, I read and hear how the other side is dissing the O-man, I think so too...but when it comes to cricket and their own selves I see and hear the opposite of what all they have been accusing others of! Can you beat that? Then those hands...those that are willing hands encouraging this nonsense from elsewhere in the world.

I really wonder why incompetence cannot be seen just as incompetence and why deliberate errors supported by similar acts in the past cannot be seen as merely as one man's mistaken agenda (or selective incompetence) rather than blow it into some weird racist theory. Thos who do so show no respect to the souls of those who suffered, endured, and overturned racism in the past with such a poor equation with incompetence. I'm surprised the umpires are even standing in local matches after all that shyte we saw recently in Australia and in the past. I am also surprised the they continue to be on the ICC panel...no penalty these two fellows have in the way they earn their daily bread butter and jam. They obviously have so regret or shame for what they did in Sydney. Sometimes it pays to be a cricket umpire with the correct credentials.

Hated to bring this up this year again, which was set aside just for cricket, but one stumbled on this internet pothole while browsing along smoothly...the faux indignance over this was really so amazing...so breathtakingly outrageous...so brazen! Wow!
