No guys, Everything's OK. I just need a break. Cricket got toxic inside me... And then there's that dharna I have to undertake...

I'd much rather watch test matches - ODIs and T20 are a different thrill, can go either way, but do not remain in memory.

There's plenty of pajyama cricket to be played soon, I'll let it blow over, enjoy the storm as it fumes, and come back for test matches.

The Oz-Kiwi match was in fast forward mode. If only Kiwis fought hard in the scrap and made it competitive.

There isn't any telecast of the rest of cricket - Murdoch companies have stopped coverage from SA it appears, not that it matters for SA are thrashing BD, still, test cricket is no longer available as it used to be.

Then Neo, it isn't covering domestic cricket any longer and that was a huge disappointment - I prepared in advance to follow this season - rewriting one's second-hand perceptions from news reports is not quite the same thing. I mean I can watch Australian and English domestic live with reruns but can't watch even a highlights package of Indian domestic living in India!

Oh yes, one more thing, after Star went the ESPN way and Cricinfo too went into Murdoch's basket, I discovered yesterday that one non-cricketing channel I used to watch, History, also has been taken over by Murdoch's Fox! It's Fox History and Entertainment now! The programming has also changed!

In the flimsy world of TV entertainment such frivolous matters are not quite as frivolous. I want my world/domestic cricket back, I want my History channel back!

And work has chased me down into my vacation.

I protest and am sitting on dharna - what else can an Indian do? Dharna is desi karma..it's evolved into a fine art now..I want my History channel, test cricket and coverage of domestic cricket back!

T20 and limited overs should be shifted to different channels..new T20/50-50 channels.

NEO not covering domestic cricket this season... Am gonna use Tata Sky...bloody cheats!! They charged a bomb on this pretext and now they don't want to reduce the rates too.

Yeah take a break... get back in test form... it will only get murky with the champions trophy.
